WHAT IS FLINT RISING?
PURPOSE
The Flint Rising Initiative is a five-year effort to guide a community-driven approach to balancing development and conservation across Georgia's Upper Flint River region, with an initial focus on Fayette and Coweta counties. Through shared goals, actionable strategies, and measurable outcomes, the initiative seeks to ensure that growth elevates—rather than diminishes—the natural systems that sustain local communities.
